There are common categories of industrial endoscopes on the market including Rigid Tube, Fiber Scope and Electronic Scope. Here we introduce the advantages and disadvantages of various kinds of industrial endoscope. 

1.Rigid Tube: With straight-looking and side-looking(the degrees of side-looking including 0°, 30°, 70°, 90°). You can view the place you want to see by your eyes or It can be connected by CCD display. The form of lighting is optical fiber lighting. 
 Disadvantages: It can not be bended and designed too long, generally within 400mm. 
 Advantages: It has got excellent imaging 

2.Fiber Scope: It can be viewed by naked eyes, also can be connected by CCD display. The form of lighting is optical fiber lighting. 
 Disadvantages: It can not be designed too long, generally a few meters but it is difficult to design about dozens of meters long. 
 Advantages: low cost, excellent image effects, it can be designed to 1.8mm diameter at present. 

3.Electronic Scope: The end is a CCD digital image, it can be understood that has a small camera in the end. It shows by displayer. The forms of lighting is optical fiber lighting or LED. 
 Disadvantages: It can not be a small diameter, the general minimum about 4mm. With high cost. 
 Advantages: With electronic imaging, the application of modern technology, can be designed to dozens of meters long.
